Aliya has completed her degree in international development, globalization and women’s studies at the University of Ottawa. Her community development experience has been with the Girls 20 Summit, the Aga Khan Development Network and Spark of Hope Foundation. She is working with the IWRP project on violence against women in India, and the Global Environment Facility gender equality research.
