Governance, Water and Gender

IWRP is working on issues of gender, water, governance and climate change. In that capacity it is advising the Good Practices and Portfolio Learning in Transboundary Freshwater and Marine Legal and Institutional Frameworks project, funded by the Global Environment Facility, on how to implement gender mainstreaming of its project.

IWRP is working with the Entebbe Women Association in Uganda on replicating its grassroots environmental sustainability model in the Lake Victoria region of Africa.
