We are proud to announce that Annita McPhee has joined the IWRP as a member of the Advisory Committee

Annita is a member of the Tahltan Nation located in Northwestern British Columbia’s Stikine Valley.  She is former President of the  Tahltan Central Council and  served 3 terms as Leader of the Tahltan Nation.  Annita continues work to enhance and protect the quality of life for First Nations in Canada and globally. A recipient of the Aboriginal Woman of Distinction award, as well as many other awards, she holds a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Victoria. A member of the Indigenous Women’s Forum, she will be attending the Program on Human Rights and International Advocacy Skills 2015 of the Indigenous Women’s Global Leadership School.
