Megan Kammerer has joined us as a Senior Research Associate

Megan is currently working on IWRP research projects for the UN Special Rapporteur on Violence Against Women and the Human Rights Council’s Working Group on the issue of discrimination against women in law and in practice. Megan is a Canadian lawyer who works on gender and women’s rights, international human rights law, and post-conflict justice.  Megan has worked on women’s land rights in Tanzania, with women affected by conflict situations under investigation by the International Criminal Court in The Hague and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and on access to justice and constitutional reform issues with the UN in New York.She recently completed the Masters of Law Programme in Public International Law at the University of Cambridge, where she was a Chevening Scholar, and has a law degree from the University of British Columbia.
